Our crane method is effective if your job site can accommodate an 18×24 crane while also being within a safe operating radius of other trees and if the ground is level. Once the crane is set up, our operator will position the boom over the tree being removed. Then, we’ll lower the crane ball to the climber at the base of the tree, who will attach the cable and sign for the operator to apply tension.

After the cut is made, the crane operator will lift the severed section off the tree and swing it into the landing zone. From there, our ground crew will disconnect the cable so the operator and climber can make the next pick. We’ll repeat this process until the entire tree is removed.
